It’s that special time of year when the audio community comes together to celebrate podcasting. 

This International Podcast Day, we’re spotlighting some of the top voices in branded audio. From hosts and producers to agency and platform founders, we’re covering some of the best and brightest who have helped shape corporate podcasting into what it is today. 

Before we dive into the list, let’s take a quick look at some of this year’s branded podcast stats to get a lay of the land. 

2024’s top branded podcast stats 

  • 50% of listeners feel positive about a brand’s involvement in a podcast as opposed to only 2% who feel negatively about it
  • 85% of companies capture video of their podcasts
  • Trackable ROI is the biggest constraint (33%) for brands in podcasting 
  • 86% of brands reported increased brand affinity as a result of their podcast
  • 41% of podcast listeners say they would listen to a podcast about a favorite brand. This is only 5% behind how likely listeners are to tune into a celebrity show
  • 90% of brands are overwhelmingly satisfied with the results of their podcasts
  • 46% of brands see podcasts as a more effective tool for establishing thought leadership compared to other mediums
  • 64% of brands plan to sustain or increase their podcast budgets in 2024
