About the Role
We’re looking for a content-driven, marketing-minded producer to lead the development and growth of several branded podcasts for enterprise clients. While the title is “Producer,” this is not a traditional film or technical production role– it’s a creative position focused on strategic content, marketing, and client management; suited for someone coming from a marketing agency, PR firm, communications team, or branded content environment.
You will act as the creative and strategic lead for a portfolio of corporate podcasts, shaping editorial direction, managing client stakeholders, developing marketing campaigns, and guiding the full lifecycle of each show. You’ll collaborate with hosts, marketers, writers, researchers, and audio editors to ensure every episode aligns with brand goals and delivers measurable results.
This role blends storytelling, content strategy, campaign management, audience development, analytics, and client-facing communication. It’s ideal for someone who is a strong writer, a strategic thinker, and a confident communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, agency-style environment.
Key Responsibilities
Podcast & Content Production
- Content Strategy + Creative Development: Lead editorial strategy for each show. Develop episode concepts, scripts/outlines, interview questions, and story flow aligned with brand messaging and audience insights.
- Guest Research & Host Preparation: Conduct background research, manage pre-interviews, and prepare materials that ensure meaningful, on-brand conversations.
- Production Oversight: Guide each episode from idea to delivery, ensuring content is on brief, on schedule, and aligned with client expectations.
- Creative Collaboration: Work closely with clients as a strategic partner—bringing ideas, insights, and recommendations that elevate each show’s positioning and storytelling.
- Quality Review: Provide detailed editorial and creative direction to audio editors; review cuts and ensure consistency in tone, voice, and brand alignment.
Client & Project Management
- Client Communication: Build strong relationships with corporate marketing teams, providing clear updates, strategic advice, and excellent service.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal project managers, marketers, and editors to keep deliverables organized and workflows efficient.
- Reporting & Insights: Prepare and present analytics reports, performance insights, and content recommendations to client stakeholders.
Audience Growth & Marketing
- Campaign Strategy + Execution: Develop podcast marketing plans that leverage paid, owned, and earned media. Collaborate on or manage campaigns across social, newsletters, search, podcast ads, partnerships, and PR outreach.
- Growth Optimization: Identify new audience opportunities through SEO, cross-promotions, guest amplification, and platform-specific strategies.
- Analytics & Measurement: Monitor performance data across podcast platforms and marketing channels. Make strategic recommendations that drive audience growth and business impact.
- Process Improvement: Help evolve Quill’s marketing systems, tools, and best practices to support scale and client success.
