The Rich Roll Podcast: Podcast Review

March 5, 2021

The Rich Roll Podcast has been around for quite some time but it hasn’t been till the last few months that I’ve really gotten into it. Hosted by ultra-athlete, wellness evangelist, and bestselling author, Rich Roll, this self improvement podcast is everything you need for motivation and inspiration.

In each episode Rich sits down with the world’s brightest and most thought provoking leaders with a goal to educate, inspire, and empower all listeners. And I’ll be the first to say that this podcast truly does just that. The episodes are definitely on the longer end, averaging around the two hour mark with some even reaching three hours, but given the casual conversation style of this series, the longer format works.

I find that some self improvement podcasts can be a little fluffy and you’re left wondering what you actually learned by listening but with The Rich Roll Podcast, I can sit back every time and list off tactical advice I was given to implement into my own life. The guests on the show vary across all industries and disciplines which I really think helps to make it such an interesting podcast. Some voices that you’ll hear from are James Clear, Andrew Huberman, Karamo Brown, Adam Grant, and so many more. This is a show that you shouldn’t just have on in the background while working, you’ll actually want to digest and think about the conversations being had.

The last thing that I’ll add is that Rich has amazing chemistry with all of the guests that come onto the show. It feels like you’re listening in on a conversation between two good friends (but a very helpful conversation that you’ll have actionable tips to take away from). If you’re looking to find some motivation and improve your overall well being, I recommend giving The Rich Roll Podcast a listen.
